Description

The Provo Tabernacle was originally constructed from 1883 to 1898 at a cost of $100,000. The building has octagonal towers at each of its four corners. When it was first constructed, it had a central tower rising 147 feet into the air from the roof. Unfortunately, the roof was not able to support the weight of the central tower, and it had to be removed in 1950. The renovated Tabernacle still stands today and is used for various church meetings.

The Provo Tabernacle hosts numerous cultural events each year. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy the grounds, though currently no tours are being given.
